In this special edition, we're thrilled to be a sponsor of "Cruisin' in Justin: Karts for a Cause," an incredible initiative that combines the thrill of karting with the joy of supporting a great cause. Join the town for a day of fun as we roll out on the "parade path," showcasing your cool creations, building new friendships, and reconnecting with old ones.

Cruisin’ in Justin~Karts for a Cause

Get ready to rev your engines for an exciting and charitable event, "Cruisin' in Justin,~Karts for a Cause!" Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming event:

Event Details:

• Event Name: Cruisin' in Justin - Karts for a Cause

• Date: September 7, 2024

• Time: Registration begins at 9:00 AM

Registration & Costs:

• Adult Entry Fee: $20

• Children 10 and Under: Free

• Additional Poker Cards: $5 each (all proceeds go directly to Apollo)

Registration will be at the Justin Town Center, where you will receive your first poker card and sign necessary waivers. Helmets are required for all participants under 16 years of age.

Vehicles:

• Type: Go carts, mini bikes, even lawnmowers.

• Details: Emphasize creativity and personalization of vehicles.

Starting Point:

• Location: Justin Town Center

• Address: 415 N College Ave Justin TX 76247

• Time: 9:00 AM

The Cruisin’ Route:
We’ll be traveling through the heart of Justin TX in a parade-style procession. Our route is carefully planned to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Here’s a glimpse of our journey:

1. Town Hall: Kickoff and staging. Pickup your first card at the Registration/Waiver table

2. Sonic: First designated stop for a quick break to grab drinks and/or ice cream.

3. The Water tower: approaching Timberbrook to pickup your second card

4. East Gate on Hillside: (Ridgeview/Timberbrook) to pickup third card

5. 3rd & College: at the Southeast Corner of City Hall Block to pickup fourth card

6. Return to Town Hall: Pickup fifth and final card. Winners will be announced and prizes handed out.

Route Highlights:

• Pace Vehicle: Leading the way to maintain a safe speed.

• Safety Police and Fire Assistance: Positioned at key intersections to guide and assist.

• Community Stops: Planned breaks to interact and enjoy local activities.

Important Notes:

• Stay on Route: For safety reasons, all participants must follow the designated route and adhere to the pace vehicle’s speed.

• No Route Deviations: Please respect the planned path to ensure a smooth and safe event for everyone.

• Safety First: We’ll have volunteers and safety measures in place to assist with any issues and ensure a great experience.

Ending Point:

• Location: Town Hall

• Details: Wrap up the event with a celebration and community gathering.

♠️♥️Poker Run Details

The $20 entry fee includes a 50/50 Poker Hand with half of the proceeds going to the winner and the other half to Apollo. You can purchase up to 3 additional poker cards for $5 each to improve your hand; all funds from additional cards support Apollo directly. See attached document for additional details.

We will have three exciting awards:

• People’s Choice

• Best Jalopy

• Kid’s Choice (voted on by children 10 and under)

Trophies will be provided by James Clark, and Name Plates by Leo.

Additional Information:

Pickup Crew: A truck and trailer will be provided equipped to carry gas, parts, and more to keep the karts running smoothly.
