In our tight community, the spirit of helping one another and supporting local causes shines brightly. We’re excited to bring you a Special Edition dedicated to highlighting events and initiatives that bring us together and make a difference in our town.

This week, we’re thrilled to spotlight Cruisin' in Justin and Car Show, a fantastic event that combines the thrill of cars, go-karts, and classic vehicles with the joy of supporting Apollo Animal Rescue, a local nonprofit. It’s a day to showcase your unique creations, make new friends, and reconnect with old ones while cruising through our streets.

Cruisin’ in Justin~and Car Show

Cruisin’ in Justin and Car Show is all about bringing our community together and preserving the small-town charm of Justin, Texas. By staying connected, supporting each other, and keeping our friendships strong, we can maintain the close-knit feel that makes this town special.

Events like this one and others, help us get to know one another and remember that we are better together. So, shop local, have fun with friends, and join us as we celebrate spring, classic cars, and some fun bonus vehicles like go-karts, mini bikes, side-by-sides, and golf carts.

After the car show, at approximately 4:00 PM, there will be a a 17-mile, police-escorted cruise through Justin. Anyone with a classic car or fun vehicle can join in the cruise. If you’re not joining the cruise with a vehicle, stand outside and watch the fun as the cars pass by—wave and say hello as they roll through!

• Car Show Registration: 10:00 AM

• People’s Voting: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Cruise Waivers: 1:30 PM

• Poker Run Registration: 3:00 PM

• 50/50 Draw and Door Prizes: Ongoing throughout the event

• Raffles and Awards: 3:00 PM

• Cruise/Parade Departure: 4:00 PM

• Parade Return: After the cruise/parade, around 6:00 PM

Registration & Costs:

• Pre-Register Car Show: $20

• Day of Registration Car Show: $25 (Cash)

• Each Additional Car: $10

• Poker Run Entry Fee: $20

• Additional Poker Cards: $5 each (all proceeds go directly to Apollo)

• Cruisin Justin: Free

Registration Details:

Preregister for the Car show to save $5.00. Registration to cruise in Justin and the poker run will take place at the Justin Town Center, where you will receive your first poker card and sign the necessary waivers. Helmets are required for all participants under 16 years of age.

Vehicles:

• Type: Cars, Go-Karts, Mini Bikes, Lawn Mowers, SxS (Side-by-Side), Golf Carts, Tractors, and more!

Details: Emphasize creativity and personalization of vehicles! All types of vehicles are welcome, so get creative and have fun!

🗺️ Route Information

Route Information:
The cruise will begin at Action Behavior in Justin Town Center. Here’s where we’ll be stopping for the poker cards:

1. First Poker Stop: W. 7th Street by the water tower.

2. Second Poker Stop: Timberbrook Pool on Foxtail Dr.

3. Third Poker Stop: Reatta Pool in Ridgview Need East Gate.

4. Final Poker Card: End the route back at Action Behavior at Justin Town Center.

Check out the map for all the details! Whether you're cruising or just watching from your neighborhood, knowing where the poker stops are will help you catch the action or know where you're headed if you're in the cruise.

Route Highlights:

• Pace Vehicle: Leading the way to maintain a safe speed.

• Safety Police and Fire Assistance: Positioned at key intersections to guide and assist.

• Community Stops: Planned breaks to interact and enjoy local activities.

Ending Point:

• Location: Justin Town Center

• Details: Wrap up the event with a celebration and community gathering, and don’t forget to take a selfie in front of the “Justin” sign and post on social media.

♠️♥️Poker Run Details

The $20 entry fee includes a 50/50 Poker Hand with half of the proceeds going to the winner and the other half to Apollo. You can purchase up to 3 additional poker cards for $5 each to improve your hand; all funds from additional cards support Apollo directly.

Additional Information:

Pickup Crew: A truck and trailer will be provided equipped to carry gas, parts, and more to keep the karts running smoothly.
